The Majid Al Futtaim mall is celebrating the festival of lights with colourful décor, a Diwali Market and fantastic giveaways

Dubai, UAE; 22 October, 2019:  As Dubai’s Indian community prepares for the arrival of the festival of lights on Sunday 27 October, City Centre Al Shindagha is joining the city-wide celebrations with a specially curated Diwali Market, joyful makeover, and a variety of generous promotions between October 18 and November 2 to welcome the Diwali spirit.

Customers will be greeted by ornate on-ground décor and ceilings that glisten with hanging lights when they step inside City Centre Al Shindagha to shop for gifts, groceries, or decorations necessary to host a memorable Diwali celebration of their own.

The impressive Diwali Market situated in the mall’s food court will be a definite highlight, giving visitors the chance to be fully immersed in the community spirit of the occasion. The ‘bazaar’ style marketplace will be offering men and women’s ethnic Indian wear and a variety of festive décor.

Maryam Ahli, Mall Manager at City Centre Al Shindagha commented, “Diwali is a wonderfully vibrant festival that’s celebrated with such passion in Dubai, and City Centre Al Shindagha is pleased to be a part of this special community occasion. We want this year’s festivities to be especially memorable for our customers, not only through the atmosphere we’ve created in the mall but also through our rewarding activities.”

As customers peruse the mall’s enticing outlets for items such as jewellery, electronics, food and new clothing for the occasion, they’ll have the opportunity for big wins. When shoppers spend AED 100, they will receive a raffle to complete and drop into a raffle drum for a chance to be one of 28 people to win solid gold, with up to half a kilogram of gold to be won. To add, when shoppers spend AED 200, City Centre Al Shindagha will instantly award them with a box of sweets to make the celebrations even sweeter.

City Centre Al Shindagha is also the destination where the final draw for the gold prizes will take place. Winners of the big giveaway will be drawn on 2 November at 8 pm.
