Dubai, UAE, 7th July 2019: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world's largest district cooling services provider, achieved the highest internationally recognised safety standard in the protection of customer information since 2014. Safety and information security have become the foundation of successful and safe business services due to scientific progress and high reliance on technology, which are now a key component of business activities within many organisations.

Empower successfully completed the Information Security Management System Surveillance audit (ISO27001:2013), covering the highest international standards for information security for the next 3 years.

ISO27001:2013 certification is the international standard that specifies how to develop a properly managed information security management system that allows for the safe and secure preservation of financial and confidential data and reduces the possibility of unauthorized access to it.

The certificate was granted to Empower by the British Standards Institution (BSI), after successfully bypassing its business processes in accordance with the highest standards of ISO27001:2013. Empower underwent an audit which confirmed that the approved policies and procedures conform to international standards and specifications.
