Tristar Group opens new transport and warehouse facilities in Abu Dhabi and Oman

New facilities are located in Industrial City of Abu Dhabi and Rusayl Industrial Estate
 
Dubai, UAE; May 28, 2018:   Tristar Group has opened two new facilities aimed at enhancing its integrated logistics services to the downstream petroleum industry in the GCC.

The new truck staging and workshop facility at Industrial City in Abu Dhabi 2 (ICAD 2) has 50,000 square meters of area offering tailor-made logistics service options to customers for transport, warehousing, storage and distribution services. It is strategically located near Khalifa Port, and the main highway connecting UAE with Saudi Arabia.
 
“Our new facility in Abu Dhabi reinforces our confidence in investing in the UAE economy which is expected to further strengthen with the UAE Government’s recent regulations extending visa tenure, and providing greater support to investors,” expressed Tristar Group CEO, Eugene Mayne. 
 
The Oman facility is located in the Rusayl Industrial Estate which is situated 20 kilometers from Muscat International Airport. The Rusayl Estate hosts a wide spectrum of companies providing consumer as well as industrial-oriented products, ranging from chemicals, electrical and building materials, fiber optic cables, food products, textiles, paints, and others.
 
Tristar’s facility which is in Phase 2 of Rusayl Industrial Estate has a total plot of 15, 000 square meters with a 2-storey office building and a 5-day operational workshop, with two inspection pits and a washdown bay. Products can be stored outside or inside the warehouse. Its location gives easier access to transport fuel and supplies to the rest of Oman as it is at the edge of Muscat, with no road restriction.
 
“We have been operating on leased facilities in Abu Dhabi and Oman for several years. We have decided to make further investments to consolidate our capabilities in the GCC region and the locations selected, in Abu Dhabi and Oman, are the result of proper network planning to selecting the best locations to support our customers’ operations and business growth strategy,” added Mayne.
