Dubai, UAE, 23 May 2016: Community Management Week, the pioneering event that brings five dedicated shows under one banner, was inaugurated today (Monday, May 23, 2016) by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, which runs until May 25, 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The first-ever show of its kind has received tremendous response from trade visitors and professionals who came to review the most comprehensive range of sustainable and cutting-edge community management solutions. Aside from focusing on all the segments of the community management industry, Community Management Week will host 78 hours of free-to-attend conferences, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops, and masterclasses. The highlight of the day was the World FM Summit, which focused on ‘Innovation, Efficiency and Effective Business Strategies for Delivering World-Class FM Service Standards.’ Leaders in Landscape, on the other hand, will be held from May 23 to 25, 2016, to bring local and international pioneers to showcase the region’s ground-breaking and iconic outdoor projects. The conference will debate on currently relevant subjects such as ‘BIM and Energy Modeling for High-Rise Building Construction;’ ‘New Trends in Vertical Urban Design and Transit Technologies;’ and ‘Fire Safety in High-Rise Buildings.’ Lastly, the Middle East Waste & Recycling Conference will open on May 25, 2016 with a keynote by Eng. Rehan Ahmed, Head of Waste Disposal Unit, Supreme Council for Environment, Bahrain, on ‘Meeting the Challenge of Municipal Waste Management in GCC Countries.’ The agenda for the summit includes ‘Global and Regional Resource and Waste Management Outlook;’ ‘Sustainable Solutions for Waste and Resource Management;’ ‘Developing a Healthcare Waste Strategy in Ras Al Khaimah;’ and ‘Exploring Remediation Options for Sustainable Future Use of Landfill Sites.’ Expecting a footfall of over 10,000 visitors, Community Management Week is hosting FM EXPO, The Big 5 Outdoor Design & Build Show, the Middle East Waste & Recycling, Commercial Cleaning & Hygiene, and the Elevators & Access.
