November 21, 2013 Aldes Middle East (ME), a leading global solutions provider for fire protection, ventilation and air distribution and the local arm of the Aldes Group, will be giving a talk and presentation on the importance of infusing hygienic fresh air into today's air conditioning systems during the first day (November 25, 2013) of this year's ‘The Big 5 International Building & Construction Show,' the largest gathering of the construction industry in the Middle East, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The presentation, entitled ‘Reduced energy consumption and improved indoor air quality using Aldes constant airflow regulators,' will throw the spotlight on the recently launched MR–Mono and the MR–Modulo, constant airflow regulators that have been designed to provide optimum air-balancing with precise, constant flow regulation.
The talk will be given by Noman Qamar, Product Manager, Aldes ME and Marc-Robert Jean, Category Manager, Aldes ME. Qamar has over 13 years in the HVAC industry and is currently in charge of product development for Aldes ME. He has successfully developed a key range of fire dampers, combination fire & smoke dampers and Smoke dampers that have been tested & certified by UL (USA). He has also created various models of Volume Control Dampers, Pressure Independent VAV boxes, Bypass VAV boxes etc. Meanwhile, Marc-Robert Jean has over 14 years of experience in the HVAC industry and heads the company's HVAC components portfolio.
According to Aldes ME senior executives, both models are being positioned to help address the growing demand for hygienic fresh air being infused into air conditioning systems being installed across the increasing number of construction development projects in the region. The MR-Mono and the MR-Modulo can fit easily into a section of circular ductwork to maintain a constant and reliable airflow within a wide range of differential pressure--50-250Pa for the standard version and 150-650Pa for the high-pressure version. The company's latest MR models operate on a unique and innovative principle where the unit's membrane inflates and deflates depending on the pressure differences between the upstream and downstream flow of the constant air-flow regulator. This later changes the cross-section of the flow and guarantees constant air-flow, regardless of aeraulic variations in the ductwork.

With its 8 Reference numbers, the MR - Modulo adapts to all situations and allows for all types of combinations thanks to its Aldes patented rotating ring, which adjusts the diameter and the on-site air-flows. Meanwhile, the MR–Mono is factory calibrated, making the throughput guaranteed and controlled as the model can be quickly installed on-site at the desired flow set by the developers.
