datamena and Djibouti Data Centre partnership opens up a fibre expressway between the Middle East and Africa

Dubai, UAE, 11 November: datamena, the carrier neutral data centre and connectivity platform based in the UAE and servicing the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region is pleased to announce its partnership with Djibouti Data Centre. Through the collaboration, datamena and Djibouti Data Centre will enhance customers' accessibility by providing a seamless connectivity link between Dubai and Africa.

The partnership coincides with datamena and Djibouti Data Centre's participation at Africa Com, held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 12-14 November 2013.

datemena's scalable presence in Djibouti Data Centre will be directly connected to the datamena data centre in Dubai. This will expand the options for customers wishing to interconnect between Africa, the UAE and the GCC, improving redundancy while allowing them to leverage existing submarine assets, and thereby a more efficient cost-base.
