Dubai, UAE, May 10, 2016 The 2016 Ramadan tray is inspired by a model created by Christofle in 1860. The base is engraved in the shape of the Volubilis Flower, also known as the Ipomée, meaning the wind. This plant which has tropical origins, has shown a great success during the 19th century in Europe, as it still symbolizes devoted friendship in the language of flowers. The lianas, leaves and flowers are portrayed in the shape of a decorative bell which is portrayed at the bottom of the Ramadan Tray.
