Dubai, 13 August 2026: GFH Bank B.S.C (“GFH” or “the Bank”) (Bahrain Bourse: GFH) today announced its financial results for the second quarter (“the quarter”) and first six months of the year (“the period”) ended 30 June 2026.

Net profit attributable to shareholders was US$ 41.09 million for the second quarter of the year compared to US$ 37.10 million in the second quarter of 2025, an increase of 10.77% driven by strong growth in Wealth and Investment Management income and Credit and Financing income, which rose by 32.52% and 22.99%, respectively. 

Earnings per share for the second quarter were US cents 1.19 compared with US cents 1.06 in the second quarter of 2025, an increase of 12.26%. Total comprehensive income attributable to shareholders was US$ 70.52 million for the second quarter of 2026 versus US$ 51.71 million in the second quarter of 2025, an increase of 36.38%. Total income was US$ 158.82 million for the second quarter of the year compared with US$ 146.04 million in the second quarter of 2025, an increase of 8.75%. Consolidated net profit for the second quarter was US$ 42.23 million compared with US$ 39.02 million in the second quarter of 2025, an increase of 8.22%. Total expenses for the quarter were US$ 116.59 million compared with US$ 107.02 million in the prior-year period, an increase of 8.95%.

The Bank reported net profit attributable to shareholders of US$ 76.20 million for the first six months of the year compared with US$ 67.24 million in the same period of 2025, an increase of 13.33%. Earnings per share for the six-month period was US cents 2.21 compared to US cents 1.93 for the first half of 2025, an increase of 14.51%. Total comprehensive income attributable to shareholders was US$ 67.61 million for the first six months of the year compared with US$ 78.91 million in the same period in 2025, a decrease of 14.32%. Total income for the period was US$ 309.81 million, an increase of 4.40% from US$ 296.75 million year-on-year.  Consolidated net profit for the first six months of the year was US$ 76.57 million compared with US$ 69.72 million in the corresponding period of 2025, an increase of 9.83%. Total expenses for the six-month period were US$ 233.24 million compared with US$ 227.04 million in the same period of 2025, an increase of 2.73%. Total equity attributable to shareholders was US$ 1.01 billion at 30 June 2026 compared with US$ 1.02 billion at 31 December 2025, a drop of 1.31%. Total assets of the Bank were US$ 12.44 billion compared with US$ 12.20 billion at 31 December 2025, an increase of 1.97%.
