China Sets Sights On Middle East Construction Sector Asian Powerhouse Prepares For Big Show At Hardware+Tools Middle East 2014

China’s growing stature as a major tools and hardware exporter has been underlined by the Asian powerhouse’s key presence at the Middle East’s only dedicated trade fair for tools, hardware, materials and machinery next month.

More than 160 Chinese manufacturers and suppliers will be out in full force at Hardware + Tools Middle East 2014, as they scout out new markets and evaluate business prospects from across the region.

Thousands of regional trade professionals to the three-day event, which takes place from 3-5 June at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, will be greeted at a dedicated Chinese pavilion stacked with Chinese-made products.

Known for presenting cost-effective construction solutions from hand and power tools and accessories, to doors, floors and plastic and rubber materials, Chinese manufacturers are expected to be highly sought after by regional trade buyers.

“Chinese interest in the Middle East hardware and tools market has been increasing at a remarkable pace and their hand tools and machinery are popular with regional buyers,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt, organiser of Hardware + Tools Middle East.

“Hardware + Tools Middle East presents an attractive launchpad for exhibitors from China and other regions to engage with a wide spectrum of buyers and decision makers from the Middle East.”

Among the key Chinese exhibitors at Hardware + Tools Middle East are Fujian Yong Dong Tools with their hand tool sets of various sizes; Shenzen AGL Plastics with a range of PVC hoses; Zhangjiang Fengze’s louvred window frames; and Zongshan Feida Caster with their range of castors.

Known for their cost-effectiveness and easy availability, Asian manufactured hand tools and machinery are making their presence felt in export markets. This is emphasised by other Asian country pavilions at Hardware + Tools Middle East from India, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Hardware + Tools Middle East 2014 is expected to be larger and more representative than its previous edition, which featured 224 exhibitors covering 2,300 sqm of exhibition space.

With four main focus areas covering tools; hardware; construction & building materials; and machinery, Hardware + Tools Middle East has has firmly established itself as the region’s premier networking platform for international manufacturers, suppliers and trade professionals within the industry.
