Dubai based and Indian origin artist Neha Pandey drops her second Arabic track ‘Ya Weli’, a love song, in collaboration with Nikon MEA
Dubai – UAE: Introducing ‘Ya Weli’, song by Dubai-based Neha Pandey in collaboration. The catchy track combines peppy and soulful beats to create magic that can only be felt. Literally translated, ‘Ya Weli’ means ‘oh gosh’ - the song monuments and memorializes a woman’s expression of love – the passion for herself, her life or her desires.
‘Ya Weli’ connects with listeners on a individual level and encourages listeners to embark on their unique journey of interpretation. Shot in collaboration with Nikon Middle East FZE., the video compliments the soulful track to portray a woman in love with picturesque local scenes as the backdrop. The striking visuals add a touch of art and glamour whilst Neha breathes life into the lyrics.

This is not Neha’s first Arabic song, back in 2019, she released an Arabic version of her hit song ‘Busy Busy’. However, Neha Pandey is the first ever Indian artist to sing an original Arabic song. Being based in the UAE for many years, she has been exposed to many cultures and forms of music. And living in a multi-cultural community in the UAE, it reflects in her music. ‘Ya Weli’ comes out of pure love for the Arabic community. It was challenging for her to create an Arabic original, but Neha makes one with so much love and care.
“Ya Weli was born out of my love and respect for the Arabic culture and language. As an Indian artist who calls Dubai home, it truly makes me feel that music has no language. This is one of my favourite tracks, that I’ve sung. It is close to my heart and I would like the world to experience it.”

Neha’s musical style contains elements of pop, hip hop, soul and R&B. Western music has had a huge impact in her singing. She has also confessed that she likes to perform 'songs that have a western flavour in them'. Unlike others who have a godfather or a family support in the industry, Neha is a completely self-made woman with a mesmerizing voice. She has already won so many hearts with her music and continues to take her musical journey one step at a time. Neha is happy with the wonderful things happening in her life.
