The Ritual of Golden Radiance

Step 1. Get in the Mood
A key part of the Hammam is allowing yourself the time to step away from the daily grind. Carve out some ‘me’ time – dim the lights, bring out the candles and take a deep breath. You can now sink into a hot Wild Argan Oil Bubbling Bath, or a hot steamy shower to help calm & soften skin, open the pores and prepare it for treatment.

Step 2. Cleanse
Next, deeply exfoliate with the Wild Argan Oil Rough Scrub. Wash away the dead skin and help relieve any tension with the massage soap. Body loving hint: a gentle rinse of cold water will close pores in preparation for moisture.

Step 3. Moisturise

The Body Shop works in close partnership with Targanine, a local cooperative created by women, for women to help find buyers for their oil, to provide technical assistance and to help the industry develop in a positive way. We warmly welcome Targanine as our 26th Community Fair Trade Partner.

Your purchase from The Body Shop directly empowers local Berber women, giving them the ability to provide their family with stable income, while reaping the benefits of kinship of the other women.  The cooperatives invest in social projects such as school rooms for children and adult learning, crèches, doctors’ visits and micro loan facilities.
