Unveiled last week, the Dove Hair Fall Rescue Range is the first beauty solution from Dove to tackle hair fall from the roots. The range contains a ground-breaking technology which visibly reduces hair fall in just two weeks.
Whilst other beauty products attempt to tackle hair fall due to breakage further down the hair shaft, 78% of natural hair fall occurs at the root, allowing considerable hair loss to continue unless addressed. Now for the first time, using the Dove Hair Fall Rescue System will treat the problem where it matters most - at the ‘roots’. Unilever Research & Development Team spent five years in the innovation labs creating the patented technology, which contains Trichazole Actives to help anchor hair firmly in place at the roots, nourishing the area where hair fall occurs.
Extensive home and lab tests showed visibly less hair fall and stronger hair from the roots after use of the Dove Hair Fall Rescue System for two weeks. The complete system includes the Leave-on Intensive Root Treatment, which contains active root strengthening ingredients and the scientifically proven formula, to be applied directly onto the roots. Visible results were seen within just two weeks of using the product, news which will herald the end of natural hair fall concerns for many women worldwide.
The Dove Hair Fall Rescue System comprises four products including: daily use Shampoo, Conditioner, Deep Repair Treatment Mask and Leave-on Intensive Root Treatment.
What are Trichazole Actives and how do they work?
Trichazole Actives are unique complex ingredients. These active ingredients have not been used in any other product before the Dove Hair Fall Rescue Range. They are scientifically proven to prevent natural enzymes breaking down “follicle glue” at the root, which binds the hair to the scalp, preventing hair shedding. The new System anchors hair on the scalp for longer by inhibiting enzyme activity, strengthening hair from root to tip.
What does the new Dove Hair Fall Rescue System mean for my hair?
The average woman loses 100-150 hairs per day or about 0.1% of their hair. According to tests, 78% of this natural hair loss occurs from the root. Dove research discovered that excessive loss of hair is a ‘secret’ issue as many women are too anxious and embarrassed to openly discuss it. Hair fall concerns may result in a loss of confidence as well as making it difficult for women to achieve their ultimate aim of beautifully strong hair.
Dr. Colin Giles, Global Product Design Leader for Dove Hair, explains: “We’re delighted to introduce the new breakthrough technology in the Dove Hair Fall Rescue System, one which will revolutionise cosmetic hair care for many women worldwide. The innovative technology was five years in the making at the brand new Dove Research & Design centre in Shanghai, and had over 30 scientists working on the technology. These are the first products available that treat natural hair fall at the root – where it matters most – presenting the new Dove Hair Fall Rescue System as the secret to beautifully strong hair.”
How does each of the products work?
The Shampoo cleanses the scalp to prepare it for the Leave-On Intensive Root Treatment.
The Conditioner after shampooing helps prevent breakage and strengthens hair from root to tip, visibly reducing hair fall due to breakage in two weeks.
The Leave-On Root Intensive Treatment is applied daily, directly to the scalp, and works to visibly reduce hair fall. After just two weeks, hair fall is visibly reduced and hair is stronger from the roots.
The Hair Fall Rescue Treatment Mask leaves hair resilient to damage and strong from root to tip.
