Premier Motors and Maserati host ‘Le Donne Di Maserati' – a stylish evening

Event featured Selma Benomar’s Ramadan 2019 collection, jewellery by designer Nada G™ and make-up by Iman Al Tamimi

Abu Dhabi, 23 April 2019 -  Premier Motors, the official dealer for Maserati vehicles in Abu Dhabi, hosted a stylish evening event titled ‘Le Donne Di Maserati’ at its showroom in Khalidiya.

The event showcased 20 exquisite creations from renowned Dubai-based luxury caftan brand Selma Benomar’s 2019 Ramadan collection. Many of the pieces in the show featured intricate embroidery - a well-known signature of the fashion house. Sheer fabric was a common feature in the collection, mostly used for the elaborate sleeves of the caftans.

Award-winning Lebanese contemporary jewellery designer, Nada Ghazal, Designer, Founder and Managing Partner of Nada G™, participated in the show with a wide range of her stunning designs. Emirati make-up artist Iman al Tamimi styled models with her artistic flair keeping the looks sophisticated, fresh and minimalistic.

“Maserati is a brand renowned for its beautiful designs, exquisite craftsmanship and sporty pedigree. I am really happy to work with the legendary Italian brand and present my designs in this beautiful showroom,” said Selma Benomar, Designer and Creative Director of the brand.

Speaking about the collection Selma Benomar said; “During Ramadan, we all share moments focussed on special bonds and family gatherings - a tradition and time that calls for elegant attire and a shared feeling of beauty to create a timeless, magical look. I was inspired by the spirit of Ramadan for this collection and wanted the designs to be elegant and chic. I have used decorative brocade, exquisite organza’s and silks embellished with delicate hand embroidery with technical expertise and unique colour tones to create the ethereal caftans in the collection. New twists to traditional caftan cuts have been enhanced with unique colour combinations and floral patterns.”

Selma Benomar is famous for the regal choice of internationally sourced fabrics. The brand freshens the traditional ethnicity of the caftan in graceful way, highlighting Middle Eastern feminine beauty, with appealing hues and unique contrasts that continue to resonate and appeal to clients.

Award-winner Nada G™ creates timeless fine jewelry pieces with an edge, that make up an impressive tailor-made and high-end portfolio in 18k gold, adorned with precious and semi-precious stones. Each piece is intricately crafted with passion and equaled in doses of time, labor and beauty, all combined.

Through this event Maserati wanted to underline its support towards its women customers. Maserati is looking to support and empower women entrepreneurs from various walks of life and business sectors to provide them with platforms to showcase their work.

“We want to create occasions for women entrepreneurs to be recognised for their work as innovators, creators and designers. We are looking to capitalise on opportunities that will help showcase the passion and efforts that go into their work, which makes the world around them that much more beautiful and complete,” said Jad Elias, Vice-President, Maserati sales at Al Tayer Motors.
