ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Saturday, July 20th 2013 [ME NewsWire]: Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently met at his office, police student Ahmed Jassem Al Marzouqui of the Abu Dhabi police. HH Sheikh Saif reviewed the graduation thesis prepared by Al Marzouqui who had received a Bachelor of Science in Cvil Engineering with honors from the California State University, Fullerton.
The thesis represented a residential complex investment project consisting of 10 villas. It is noteworthy that the student offered to His Highness the medal of excellence awarded to him by the University for his Academic Excellence.
His Highness lauded the top achieving student's efforts, calling on him to pursue further educational attainment and excellence, and to harness the knowledge he has acquired at the university to serve his nation and develop engineering projects at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
For his part, Al Marzouqui stressed his keenness to pursue further scientific researches and excellence to achieve high academic attainment, as per His Highness's directives to serve the best interests of the community. He also lauded the great attention devoted by the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ to qualify its human cadres, and provide them with the opportunities to study in world-class universities.
On the same note, Al Marzouqui expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Education Department at the Abu Dhabi Police and the Police Attaché's Office in the United States, for their support to enable him to pursue his academic attainment, and overcome the difficulties, which has had a significant impact on motivating him to achieve academic excellence.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier General Jassem Al Marzouqui, Deputy Director General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police; and Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Interior.
