Refurbished BBJ to boost capacity during this period
Abu Dhabi, 16 July 2013 –Royal Jet, the international luxury flight services company chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, is providing increasing number of Umrah travellers the option of using one of its jets to travel to Mecca to perform Umrah during the Holy month and the upcoming Eid-al-Fitr holidays.
Royal Jet makes it convenient for large groups to travel on pilgrimage as it is the owner of the world's largest Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) fleet with six of these magnificent and luxurious BBJs, of which some can accommodate up to a maximum of 52 passengers each.
One of the BBJs just returned from a US$9 million refurbishment programme from Bordeaux, France and is in service, thus increasing Royal Jet's capacity during the Ramadan and summer period.
“Families preferably travel for Umrah during the last few days of Ramadan and the Eid holidays which this year coincides with the summer season,” said Fahad Wali, Chief Commercial Officer, Royal Jet. “Our fleet of BBJs, Gulfstream and Learjet can be customized to match our guests' religious requirements withour award-winning service. Royal Jet's cabin crew is trained to the world class standards having served heads of states, diplomats, CEOs and royalty.”
Over the last few years Royal Jet has observed an increasing number of travellers choosing the option to charter private jets for Umrah and Hajj flights. The advantages of using private jets over commercial flights enables customers to choose their preferred flight times, avoiding long queues and time-consuming travel formalities.
Flights can be booked in as less as a few hours before the departure time, VIP reception at Royal Jet's dedicated VIP terminal with an option to check-in only 15 minutes prior to take off, option to book an empty leg from anywhere in the world on royaljetgroup.com and an in-flight service that is the envy of its peers within the industry.
