Russian innovative company Displair came to UAE looking for new exclusive partners at the Middle-East. The representative of the company Artem Ushanov said: «Middle-East is one of the primary directions of development for Russian innovative product. Displair already has distributors in the USA and Spain and right now the company is considering three offers from Dubai».
Displair is a Russian innovative company from Skolkovo, Russian analogue of the Silicon Valley. This is a visionary, multi-touch interactive computer monitor made of nothing but touchable air. Displair's vision is to create new visual and gesture technologies, replacing traditional glass screen monitors with more engaging, less environmentally wasteful methods of viewing and interacting with computers.
Displair projects a computer image on a thin stream of air infused with microscopic water molecules. A user can navigate the screen simply by touching the air, using highly tuned software and gesture technology. The air droplets are so small that fingers stay dry.
Displair is interested to enter to the Middle-Eastern market asap. If project goes well Displair's transactions at the region are estimated to amount to $4,5 million dollars till the end of 2013. This is a share of Digital Signage market that Displair is going to cover during the first 6 months. Company representative refused to disclose, who exactly is going to distribute Russian innovation Displair at the UAE. But it was mentioned, that Dubai may become the center of distribution of Displair in the Middle-Eastern and African areas.
“Dubai is an ideal city to introduce the newest technologies into, - said the inventor of Displair Maxim Kamanin. – This city is beautiful and rich, it is modern and looks after it's image striving to be the best in all realms. Nowaday Displair is just good for countries and companies that would like to accentuate their progressiveness”.
