London, United Kingdom, June 2013 - Ermenegildo Zegna will unveil its latest store in London, on Sloane Street in the heart of Knightsbridge. The store was designed by Zegna's in-house architects based on the creative concept developed by architect Peter Marino for various Zegna global stores throughout the world and compliments the brand's use of quality materials, integrity and modern style within 327 meters of luxury selling space.
The store is the ultimate men's emporium that hosts a wide range of Ermenegildo Zegna products and services. Each of the collections is presented within individually designed areas that convey a unique and distinct vision. The luxury offerings consist of the exclusive ‘Su Misura' (made-to-measure) service, the traditional Italian tailoring of ‘Sartoria' in contemporary silhouettes, as well as Zegna's sophisticated ‘Upper Casual' leisurewear collection. The store will also feature the appealing Zegna Sport line and is complemented by an extensive range of leather and textile accessories, as well as Ermenegildo Zegna's licensing collection of ancillaries such as watches, fragrance, underwear and cufflinks & jewellery
A key inspiration for the store design has been the fabrics created at Zegna's eponymous wool mill in Trivero, Italy since 1910. The tactile adventure in-store begins with metallic strands in the windows, while the central staircase features an overlaid woven structure of crisscrossed polished stainless steel rods behind a glass curtain wall.
The Ermenegildo Zegna Sloane Street store opening highlights a long history with the United Kingdom with the company's first store opening on New Bond Street in 1987. The company today has three stores in London, two stores on New Bond Street alongside the new Sloane Street store. Ermenegildo Zegna also enjoys strong distribution within Harrods and select department across the United Kingdom.
The new Ermenegildo Zegna Personalization Project will be unveiled in style within its own dedicated area within the Sloane Street store's Made to Measure room. The project has been created to meet the needs of discerning gentlemen who enjoy the privilege of choosing their own fabrics and finishing touches to create impeccable clothing and accessories. Zegna's Personalization Project guarantees a renewed elegance and the unmistakable craftsmanship that has distinguished Zegna for over a century. The prestigious new program will debut exclusively in London at the Sloane Street store with an initial offering that includes personalized made-to-measure formal and upper casual attire as well as personalized accessories.
