July 2, 2013: Substantial demand for C-level and senior-management talent is anticipated to climb for the MENA region over the immediate short- to mid-term in light of the region's continued economic growth. MENA corporates are also reportedly eyeing strategic changes and additions to their leadership teams as these companies pursue next-phase growth or consolidation.
DHR International, a provider of executive search and talent management solutions with over 20 years of experience, and 52 wholly-owned offices around the world, has as a result hired two experienced consultants as part of the firm's ongoing efforts to further strengthen its MENA presence and in response to increasing client demand.
Newly appointed Executive Vice Presidents Laura-Ann Yuille and Michael Cox-Hill will add breadth and depth to DHR client-assignments across the MENA region. Both come from global firms and both offer proven industry expertise and market knowledge.
Yuille has worked across the Consumer, Media and Entertainment sectors and has over nine years of Executive Search experience. Her specialty is in recruiting Board level and C-suite candidates across multiple industry sectors including Media & Broadcast, Professional Services, Sports, Consumer and Retail, Telecoms, and Technology. She began her career with a leading international search firm in London before joining another top-tier US search firm as a Director for Global Professional Services Practice. Ms. Yuille holds a Master's degree from the University of St. Andrews.
Cox-Hill, on the other hand, has worked across aerospace and defense, automotive, industrial engineering, and chemicals and polymers, among others. He spent five years with the British Safety Council in Dubai as the General Manager for the Middle East, where he established the first overseas international office and led it towards becoming one of the region's leading health, safety and environmental management consultancies. He relocated to the UAE in 2005 with Fonterra Brands, where he was Head of Marketing for the Middle East, Africa, and CIS. Cox-Hill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Manchester Metropolitan University.
“We intend to continue with our measured growth in order to support our clients' expanding needs in the MENA region. Among our major plans is to hire additional experienced consultants before year's end so we can provide more industry expertise and intensify our efforts in a key market such as Saudi Arabia,” said Ayman Haddad, Managing Director, Middle East and North Africa, DHR International.
“Our goal is to become the leading talent advisory firm in the region within the next three years. Our growth underscores our commitment to MENA and strengthens our ability to deliver the best service to our local and global clients across all industries and functions.”
Yuille added: “The MENA region is a rich area with rapidly growing opportunities that multinationals and local companies are keen to be a part of. My colleagues and I at DHR International are excited over the growing reach and quality of services that we can provide to our valued MENA clients. I especially look forward to partnering with our clients in their search for senior leadership talent.”
“Matching the right senior managers with the right organizations is becoming a critical management need for the MENA region. Key growth areas for the region such as aerospace and industrial engineering will be among our priority areas, especially in light of our extensive experience in these sectors,” said Cox-Hill.
