Seven ADP Officers Awarded their New Ranks

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Friday, June 28th 2013 [ME NewsWire]: Major General Khalil DawoodBadran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police, decorated 7 officers from the Directorate General of Finance and Services with their new ranks.
 
The Director General of Finance and Services at ADP underscored the keenness of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to motivate officers and police staff members to develop their abilities and improve work performance, so as to maintain excellence and quality.  This policy has enabled Abu Dhabi Police to be at the forefront of the outstanding institutions within the State, particularly in the areas of human resource development to keep pace with the excellence and development process.

“The Abu Dhabi Police continuously endeavors towards establishing an integrated system focused on implementing internationally sophisticated standards, both in the fields of training or practical police work”, noted Major General Badran. He also added that achieving these goals requires maximum cooperation and teamwork on the part of the officers, to achieve the aspirations of our Higher Leadership by contributing efficiently to the progress witnessed by the UAE in all areas.

Furthermore, he congratulated the officers and urged them to develop their abilities, by keeping abreast of innovations and developments in their respective fields,  in order to boost development efforts, as per  the standards of leadership and excellence.

He also lauded their excellence in discharging the duties entrusted to them and in improving the quality of services in police work. Moreover, he added that the great attention devoted by the Higher Leadership to its human cadres by awarding them these promotions, reflects an appreciation for their sincere efforts in carrying out their duties.  

For their part, the promoted officers expressed their pride in their new ranks, stressing that they constitute a great incentive for them to better perform their duties, as per the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police, to achieve a secure society, thereby enhancing public confidence in the police.

The ceremony was attended by Brigadier Saeed Saif Al Nuaimi, Director of Purchases and Warehouses Department at the Directorate General of Finance and Services; and Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Minister.
