Toshiba's PC Division is ranked first in 2012 for GCC region; sells 892,184 units - up 22% from previous year
Toshiba Corporation recently announced that Toshiba Gulf FZE's (TGFZ - Toshiba's MEA Regional HQ) PC Division is enjoying the leading position in the Middle East region. For the GCC, Toshiba had an impressive year-over-year growth of 22%, making it the number one brand in market share.
In the Levant region (Lebanon and Jordan), Toshiba is also doing quite well. Leading by an outstanding margin, Toshiba registered 48.4% sales growth from 2011; a figure far exceeding the market average. In 2012, Toshiba sold over 1.1 million units and will continue to sell more this year.
For 2013, Toshiba has many great things planned such as the introduction of Hybrid Notebooks (Satellite U920T) and Detachable Notebooks. The new value-added bundles like the Starter Kit, Warranty Extension, and Data Recovery Service will enhance customer satisfaction while helping to solidify Toshiba's number one position.
As proof of the corporation's achievements, Toshiba's Digital Products and Services Company was awarded the President's Award for being the best in four categories.
