Chantilly (France) / Saint-Imier (Switzerland), June 16, 2013 – A day dedicated to elegance, the Prix de Diane Longines took place on Sunday at Chantilly. Thierry Jarnet on Treve won the Prix de Diane Longines, the biggest race in the world for fillies. As official partner and timekeeper, the Swiss watch brand Longines invited for this day its Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker, who elected Mademoiselle Diane par Longines, the most elegant lady of the racecourse. A steel and rose gold model from the Conquest Classic collection highlighted the event.

On a bright sunny day, the racecourse of Chantilly welcomed yesterday more than 47'000 persons for the 2013 edition of the Prix de Diane Longines. Nine races have set the tempo of the day; among them the biggest race for fillies in the world, the Prix de Diane Longines. The winner, Treve, mounted by Thierry Jarnet run the 2'100 meters in the race record time of 02:03:77. Another great moment of sport was the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars, a race for young jockeys of 9 different countries, organized with their respective schools. Franklin Maleking (South Africa) from the Gauteng Jockey Academy won this race. He was presented with a Longines watch and full sport equipment while his school was awarded a 5'000 Euros bursary. With this prize, Longines aims to support youth through sport.

The day of the Prix de Diane Longines is synonymous with elegance. Guest of honour and Longines Ambassador of Elegance, Simon Baker watched the races and awarded a prize to the most elegant lady of the racecourse. Selected among 200 candidates, Marie-Camille Raynaud was elected Mademoiselle Diane par Longines after a fashion show along the avenue de Diane in the center of the racecourse. Marie-Camille won a precious Longines watch. She and her two dauphines Cyrielle Gulacsy and Marion Gervais have had the privilege to meet Simon Baker.

As a perfect illustration of the elegance and beauty of this day, a steel and rose gold model set with diamonds from the Conquest Classic collection was the official watch of the event.
