Dubai, June 25, 2013: Arabian Center, part of Lal's Group, celebrates DSS by organizing International Drug Day in the mall for three days – June 27, 28 and 29. This will be organized in collaboration with Dubai Police. The aim of this activity is to raise awareness of the major problems that illicit drugs present to society and at the same time, remind youths and adults not to make the mistake of experimenting with drugs.
To celebrate International Drug Day, Arabian Center will organize various activities over these three days which will range from Display of the New Police cars in the mall, Kiosks of the different government departments participating, where they will be there to create more awareness about the program. Apart from this, there will also be special arrangements for public where they can enjoy various other activities like Free Henna Drawing, Free Kids Arts and Crafts, Free Face Painting, Tannoura Dance, Fitness Demonstrations, Magic Shows and Drumming.
To make this event more interesting, Arabian Center will also organise for Q&A where one can stand a chance to win amazing gifts and offers from some of the leading brands at Arabian Center.
Dubai Police department will also add to the entertainment factor of the event by arranging Police dogs shows, Cars show, Educational shows and Police parade to mark the International Drug Day celebration in Dubai.
The event will be kicked off on June 27, 2013 with Red Carpet and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10am by VIPs from various Government Departments followed by visit from various Schools to increase awareness about the event.
On June 28, 2013, apart from all the other activities in the mall, there will also be demonstration of more than 100 modified cars in the Arabian Center parking lot for the people to see and enjoy, this activity will be from 3pm onwards. The car owners will have to register themselves and at the end of the show, a winner will be announced.
