Activelife by Daman confirmed as sponsor of Yas Marina Circuit's GoYAS

Abu Dhabi, 25June 2013: Yas Marina Circuit announced today that its popular weekly women-only fitness evening, GoYAS will now offer free entrance thanks to a sponsorship by Activelife, Daman's health and lifestyle programme. Renamed GoYAS by Activelife, the programme encourages women in the community to stay fit and healthy by offering private women's only fitness activities on Yas Marina Circuit's iconic F1 track every Wednesday evening.

Under Activelife's sponsorship, which will commence this Wednesday 26, June, entrance to GoYAS which includes walking, running and access to cycling will be free of charge while a small fee of 50 Dhs, will be applicable for unlimited fitness classes including Yoga, Zumba, Boot Camp, Pilates and Box Fit. Nutrition and health testing will also be offered free of charge as will a staffed children's playground for children under 12. The sponsorship builds upon Activelife's current sponsorship of the highly popular Tuesday TrainYas nights as it provides the Emirate's women their own place to befit and have fun, at no cost.

Dr. Sven Rohte, Daman's Chief Commercial Officer, commented: “This is a fantastic partnership that mixes Activelife's philosophy of promoting a healthier lifestyle with Yas Marina Circuit's unique environment and its on-going commitment of encouraging sports and fitness. This partnership will be a positive example for the Abu Dhabi community and will encourage women to make exercises and activities a regular part of their weekly routine.”

Sana Al Hammadi of Yas Marina Circuit said:  “We are proud of the role GoYAS has played in fostering a culture of health and fitness amongst women in Abu Dhabi. Now, we are delighted to partner with Activelife to offer free access to running and cycling at GoYAS.  We look forward to welcoming even more women to attend and participate, get fit and have fun.”

Since commencing in April, GoYAS has gained a huge following, attracting more than 3,000 women to the Circuit for the Wednesday evening event with more than 85% of them being UAE nationals. Providing the Emirates' women with a unique, supportive and private environment, GoYAS marked the first time the Circuit has opened its doors to a strictly female audience and it is the latest addition to Yas Marina Circuit's busy calendar of community focused events includingTrainYAS by Activelife, TriYASand CycleYAS.

GoYas continues every Wednesday evening, 6-9pm*.  To sign up or for more information visit: .
