Mishal al naimi and abdulaziz abdulla got the last pole positions of the season

A total of 32 riders joined the last round of the Qatar International Road Racing Championship.

Yesterday, in the free practice of the seventh round, the fastest rider was Nasser Al Malki with a lap time of 2.04.558. 'In the free practice, I haven't push to the maximum, I just checked how was the track and I am very happy with my lap timing. In the Qualifying I will change to new tyres and I hope to get the pole position again for this last round' Al Malki said.
The second and third positions were for the QMMF riders, Alex Cudin and Nina Prinz respectively. Both riders still didn't find the right set up of their new bikes as in the last round they changed from Suzuki to Kawasaki. ' I don't have feeling at all with the bike. Nina and I have the same problem with the suspension and hope we can make some changes and do it better in the qualifying' Cudlin said at the end of the free practice. The fastest rider in the LARRS category was the Indian rider Rajini Krishnan.

In the Qualifying practice, Mishal Al Naimi got the pole position and he will start first tomorrow in the grid with his Honda bike. The Qatari rider didn't had a good set up in the free practice but in the qualifying he made some adjustments in his bike and he felt very confident with his bike making good lap timing, 2.02.997. The second position in the grid will be for Nasser Al Malki who made a lap time of 2.03.061. The BMW rider hopes to be in front of the race tomorrow win the races. The champion Alex Cudlin will close the front row tomorrow in the grid. ' The Qualifying went ok but we still have some problems with the suspension of the bike with a lot of chattering. We have to look for the problem but unfortunately we don't have too much time so we will do some changes tomorrow to see if it works' Cudlin said at the end of the Qualifying

Race 1 of QIRRCH is scheduled today  at 18:30 and Race 2 at 21:05.

In the free practice of the Qatar National Road Racing Championship, the leader of the Championship in the Open Class, the Qatari driver Abdulaziz Abdulla made the best time, 2.23.062 with his Porsche Carrera. The Australian Lotus driver Talal Wehbe made the second best time and Pavel Nedobity also with a Lotus was third in the free practice. Regarding the Production class, Mohamed Al Aseiri was first in his category and Peter De Vido second.

The poleman of the day was again Abdulaziz Abdulla who made the best time in the Qualifying session with a time of 2.22.883. 'The qualifying practice today was successful and better lap timing than the last race and for sure tomorrow it will be a tough race as it is the last race and the championship is not yet decided' Abdulla said.
Next to Abulla there will be Talal Wehbe who made the second best lap timing. 'I changed my tyres in the qualifying session and I improve my lap timing from the free practice, so I hope better times tomorrow for the race' Wehbe said at the end of the Qualifying session.
Regarding the Production class, the best time was for Peter De Vido from Canada. 'Between the free and qualifying session I made some set up changes which was very good and I look forward a good battle tomorrow with some drivers fighting for the championship tomorrow, so for sure a good race tomorrow' De Vido stated at the end of the qualifying.

The  car race will be at 19:45.
