Zumbathon charity event to kick-off at 11am on June 21
Largest indoor summer sports event in the Middle East spanning 28,000sqm will host numerous tournaments and summer training sessions

Opening its doors tomorrow (June 21), Dubai Sports World (DSW), the Middle East's largest indoor summer sports event returns for the 3rd year, occupying over 28,000 sqm of space in Sheikh Saeed Halls and the Trade Centre Arena, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Focused on being the ultimate sports venue of choice, the all-action event features a host of activities including; football, basketball, rugby, tennis, volleyball, futsal, table tennis, cricket, fitness training, running, skateboarding, and summer camps for children. DSW will also for the first time feature squash, cycling, and badminton, and a Well-being zone will offer activities such as yoga, pilates, body balance, health and nutrition advice, kids yoga, and more.
Running daily from June 21 to August 21 from 8am to midnight, and until 3am in Ramadan, the summer mega-event aims to encourage residents and visitors to Dubai to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle during the hot summer.
DSW will also offer a range of training camps organised by popular sports and fitness partners such as Duplays and Original Fitness. These will provide an outlet for burgeoning UAE athletes to develop their talents or learn new skills in their favourite sports, under the guidance of skilled coaches and experienced trainers.

DSW includes eight pro-standard, playing fields for 5 or 7-a-side football, rugby, Aussie Rules, two basketball courts, two tennis courts, one volleyball court, three badminton courts, one squash court, a state-of-the-art gym, a 660 meter running track, virtual cycling simulators, a bike pump track, a skate and BMX park, and tiered seating for over 1,400 spectators. In addition, the Entertainment zone will feature 12 table tennis tables, six pool tables and six football tables.
Families will also have an opportunity to enjoy the fun activities at Modhesh World, which is located just across from Dubai Sports World.
More excitement will prevail during the summer as international professional football stars return to Dubai in the thrilling Dubai Indoor Football Championship. Taking place from July 2 – 6 in the Sheikh Rashid Hall, the championship will showcase the best international and regional talent in a head-to-head competition to be crowned champion.
