Strong UAE presence at Hardware+Tools Middle East

Local exhibitors view trade fair as ideal conduit into wider regional market

UAE companies dealing in hardware, tools and materials are increasingly viewing Hardware+Tools Middle East as an indeal launch platform to reach out into the markets of the wider region.

This is evident from their strong presence at the ongoing Hardware
+Tools Middle East 2013 taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre until Thursday 13th June.

As many as 20 exhibitors from the UAE are present at the exhibition making up close to 10% of the total number of exhibitors. Two days into the region's foremost trade and networking event for hardware, tools and materials, the local exhibitors were reporting intense interest from trade buyers from the wider region.

“Local companies have gained in stature from servicing the robust demand emanating from the UAE and GCC markets, which is fuelled by ongoing economic growth and vast infrastructural investments,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of organiser, Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “Hardware+Tools Middle East gives them a launch pad to reach wider into the hinterland and further establish their presence in the industry,” he stated.

One of the local exhibitors excited about the response so far was Lalit Bhamburkar, Manager of Amana FZE, who said: “It's been a good show so far. We have had a number of interested trade buyers asking about our products at the stand. We are expecting more footfall today. We hope to exhibit at Hardware+Tools Middle East again in 2014.“

Sales Executive at Al Saeed Equipment Trading Est, Mr. Farshid was another exhibitor expressing optimism. Considering Hardware+Tools Middle East 2013 is the only platform for tools, hardware and materials it's a very good way to launch our products and have good exposure to the regional customers. We are hoping to get very good response from customers and hoping to good deals.“

Elsewhere on the show floor, Hani Jaber, Sales Manager of Einhell Middle East Trading FZC was extremely positive at their outing so far: “Coming to Hardware+Tools Middle East 2013 was the right decision. Exhibiting and showcasing the products is very beneficial. Customers coming from Nigeria, Lebanon, Algeria have really liked our products – power tools, garderning, welding machines and power tool accessories. We are hoping to get good deals from Nigeria worth at least € 40,000 – 50,000. Through this platform if we are able to sign 3 contracts it will be very good for our company. All in all, it's a very good experience.“

Along with the strong UAE presence, Hardware+Tools Middle East 2013 also has a strong representation from European and North American exhibitors as well as from China, India and the Far East. The exhibition features 228 exhibitors and is taking place at the Trade Centre Arena at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
