June 09, 2013: Sharjah Media Corporation (SMC) is set to unveil its special Ramadan bouquet of programs to be broadcast on its three main channels; Sharjah TV, Sharjah Radio and Sharjah Sports Channel, during a special ceremony to be held on June 12, 2013 (Sha'ban 3, 1434 Hijri), at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre (JRCC) in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qassimi, Chairman of Sharjah Media Corporation, renowned journalists, media professionals and dignitaries. The event aims to shed light on SMC's new special Ramadan programs which include a comprehensive list of interactive, religious, social and recreational programs, as well as Gulf and Arab dramas and quiz shows that aim to promote the noble values of the holy month of Ramadan.
The new special Ramadan bouquet of programs developed by SMC follows an innovative and diverse strategy that focuses on delivering cultural, social and religious media content that complements the spirit and noble values of the holy month of Ramadan such as honesty, fairness, patience, commitment and diligence. SMC's three premier channels together provide meaningful entertainment to the entire family and shows do not contain any form of vulgarity or obscenity. The new Ramadan program package once again reflects SMC's vision of developing a meaningful media product that upholds Islamic principles and refrains from everything that is contrary to the spirituality and uniqueness of Ramadan.
