OSN Builds on Rising TV Viewership in Summer with New Customer Bonanza

Dubai, UAE; June 5, 2013: With summer setting in, television viewing is set to increase exponentially, according to industry experts.

Estimates by an independent research centre* observed that UAE viewers spent an average 5.12 hours watching television during the summer months last year, nine percent higher than the previous year.

OSN, the leading pay-TV network in the Middle East and North Africa region, is building on the huge popularity for its exclusive and premium content during summer and with the start of the Dubai Summer Surprises 2013, has announced a new customer bonanza.

Customers in the UAE who subscribe, upgrade or renew their OSN subscription between June 7 and July 25, 2013, will automatically enter two raffle draws to win one of 30 Samsung Smart TVs and the grand prize of an Infiniti JX35 car.

Hamad Malik, Chief Marketing Officer, OSN, said: “We want to give our subscribers something extra for their loyalty towards OSN. With 31 winners over a 48 day special promotion, every subscriber has a high probability of winning. This is a fantastic offer and we thank our partners Infinity and Samsung for their great support.”

The first prize draw will be held on June 27 for 15 Samsung Smart TVs, followed by the second draw on August 15 where the grand prize winner of the Infinity JX35 will be announced along with lucky winners of another 15 Smart TVs. For more details, please visit
