Dubai Refreshment (P.J.S.C.), the sole franchisee, manufacturer and distributor of Pepsi-Cola products in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates, announced its support to a noble initiative to help special needs children associated with the Khorfakkan Club for Handicapped.
Dubai Refreshment's brand Aquafina was the Bronze Sponsors of the initiative, which involved hosting 52 workshops on psychology for special needs children, held at Dibba El Hosn.
Dubai Refreshment's sponsorship was aimed at supporting the community and people with special needs and enhance their interaction with the society.
Mr. Tarek El-Sakka, General Manager of Dubai Refreshment, said: “Since our inception, Dubai Refreshment has remained committed to social responsibility, which is a critical investment for us. Our support for people with special needs is not just a humanitarian commitment, but is aimed at empowering such people and encouraging them to contribute towards the development march in the UAE. We recognize that they are a very important constituent of our society. This initiative on the psychology workshops was a major step in this direction.”
The Khorfakkan Club for Handicapped caters to the needs of handicapped people and aims to prove to society that being handicapped is an ability, and not a disability.
