The third round of Qatar National Sprint took place today at Losail International Circuit. A total of 11 cars divided into the different four classes (1M, 3S, 4S and 4M) joined this round.
The overall winner was Pavel Nedobity from Czech Republic with a Lotus Exige in the class 3M. The best lap timing of Pavel was 1:19:07 in the Run 1. Pavel has been also the winner in the previous rounds, so he is leading the championship with 75 points. In second position, the driver Peter De Vido from Canada made a time of 1:23:05 with his Honda Civic in the 1M class. Peter has been also second in the other rounds and he is second in the standings with 54 points. The third best time was for Nadim Ziady from Lebanon in the class 4M with a Mitsubishi Evo8 with a time of 1:23:08. Nadim is in third position in the standings with 45 points.
The trophies were given by Mr. Sultan Al Morraikhi (QMMF Board Member), Mr. Marwan Musabeh and Mr. Iain Black.
The fourth round will be on the 21st June.
