The accomplished Bryant Park String Quartet based in New York will be visiting Brighton College Abu Dhabi and performing an exclusive concert for the general public on Friday 31st May at 7pm. They will perform melodious, rhythmical and memorable works for string quartet such as the second movement C minor quartet by Brahms, passionate tangos by Piazolla, serene madrigals by Josquin and Debussy quartet.
Members of the quartet include Anna Elashvili and Ben Russell, violins; Nathan Schram, viola; and Tomoko Fujita, who plays the cello. Entry for the concert on the night will be free. The quartet will also make a private appearance at the College and carry out a master class with pupils who have shown an interest in string instruments.
