AL NOOR TRAINING CENTRE FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS ORGANISES “AL NOOR SWIMMING GALA 2013”

Dubai, UAE, 12thMay 2013: Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs has always ensured a holistic development for its children with its year along activities.With Al Noor Swimming Gala 2013 being one of the key events, it encourages children to showcase the skillsets that they have acquired in swimming through the years. This fun filled event was held on Thursday, 9th May 2013 at the Al Noor Premises.

Over 90 students who participated in the event were trained in a variety of skillsets in the water ranging from feeling comfortable in the water, playing various games and gaining the skills necessary for independent swimming.This activity was a form of therapy for the children which helped them in being independent, increased their self-confidence and provided greater social integration.

Zarina Baig, Al Noor Support Committee (ANSCO) Member graced the occasion as the chief guest. Along with the other committee members of Al Noor Training Centre, parents showed their support and enthusiasm towards their children's participation in the Swimming Gala.
