Yas Island showcases its commitment to positioning itself as an inclusive leisure and entertainment destination
Dubai, UAE: This ATM, DMC's, tour operators and travel agents have been introduced to Yas Island as an all encompassed leisure and entertainment destination.
Positioned within the Tourism and Culture Authority Abu Dhabi stand, Yas Island and its various stakeholders arrived to Arabian Travel Market, excited and eager to further showcase the reasons behind its growing appeal, both within the region and further abroad.
‘With more and more attractions being developed, each of the stakeholders recognize the importance of reinforcing Yas Island as an all encompassed destination', says Karim El Guanaini, Vice President, Yas Island Destination Management.
‘When on business, vacation, or a quick getaway, it is rare that you visit just one attraction, rather it is the combination of attractions and the connectivity between each, which greatly enhances the overall experience'.
Committed to cultivating a more connective approach, Yas Island continues to enrich its offerings by developing Island wide products and services.
Yas Waterworld recently launched its Yas Flow League sessions, where members receive expert training within a fun program designed to motivate and inspire enthusiasts to further their abilities.
‘We introduced the yas express on January 1st 2013, a complimentary shuttle transporting visitors to various attractions throughout the Island'. “The response was very encouraging” says Guanaini.
Moreover, during ATM Yas Island continued to enhance its yearly happenings by communicating a variety of different offerings; Ferrari World Abu Dhabi announced their plans to move towards a 7-day operational model later this year, FLASH Entertainment announced that British music legends Depeche Mode, will close-out the 2013 race weekend with a show-stopping After-Race Concert at the du Arena and Yas Marina Circuit introduced their expansive Yas Pass upgrade, providing regular and premium access to the F1 as well as two other Yas Island attractions including, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld.
With plans well under way for the Yas Marina expansion project, and the Yas Mall opening scheduled for the first half of 2014, the island is gearing up towards becoming the regions' most desired business and leisure address.
