Beautyworld Middle East ties up with Organic Monitor to focus on natural & organic cosmetic market
Interest in natural and organic beauty products is on the increase worldwide, with the market for such products progressing rapidly into the mainstream from the niche it once occupied. Organic Monitor research shows the global natural & organic cosmetics market is expanding by about US $1 billion each year.
With this demand in mind, Beautyworld Middle East has tied up with Organic Monitor to present two days of workshops and discussions on the essentials of running an organic beauty business in the Middle East.
Organic Monitor, the leading researchers and training consultants on organic products, will be conducting their first masterclass in the Middle East on the sidelines of Beautyworld Middle East 2013, the internationally acclaimed trade and networking platform for the beauty and wellbeing industry.
Designed for cosmetics manufacturers, brand owners, retailers, distributors, product developers and formulators as well as investors, certifying agencies and other stakeholders, the two-day workshops will feature two strands: Taking the Green Certification Route and Business Openings in the Global Market for Natural and Organic Cosmetics. The programme will also update delegates on the latest developments in certification systems and standards around the world.
“Interest in natural and organic beauty products is increasing in the region and beyond,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Beautyworld Middle East organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “By tying up with Organic Monitor, Beautyworld Middle East, with its industry-wide footprint, aims to increase awareness about the development of the natural and organic market and the potential it has for the region,” he added.
“Beautyworld Middle East, which brings together all the stakeholders in the regional beauty and wellness industry, was the ideal venue for our first Masterclass in the Middle East. Our workshops aim to create a greater awareness about the great business potential for natural and organic products in the regional market as well as educate prospective investors on the possible hurdles and hiccups that they may face,” said Amarjit Sahota, President of Organic Monitor.
As one of the leading global trade platforms for beauty products, fragrances, haircare and wellness, Beautyworld Middle East 2013 will feature a wide range of product launches by international brands. Trade buyers, retailers, distributors and beauty industry professionals from around the world are expected to turn out in strength for the three-day trade fair which has become a must attend event in their annual calendars.
