January 1st, 2013- Nitram Charcoals, a global leader in charcoals designed for drawing, recently added new varieties of soft charcoals ranging from 6mm-46mm to accommodate large scale project requirements.
The original Nitram brand was founded in 1965 by Martin Gros, and later managed by Martin's son, Daniel. The renaissance methods for making this celebrated charcoal product were put back into production in January 2011 by artist and entrepreneur, Jerzy Niedojadlo, much to the delight of artists everywhere.
While the product line has long catered to artists working on smaller scale products, there wasn't a viable option for larger scale work. This product line gap spurred Nitram to develop their new soft charcoals, now available in 6mm-46mm sizing. Today, Nitram Charcoals offers products for any artist's drawing needs.
Nitram's current charcoal product line includes:
•Nitram Academie Fusains- soft, medium and hard
•Soft Round- 6mm, 8mm and 12 mm
•Demi Baton de saule 25mm, Maxi baton de saule 40 mm and Bloc de saule
For over 50 years, Nitram has been supplying charcoal products to artists worldwide. In the opinion of many, there is no substitute to Nitram available on the marketplace today. To learn more about Nitram's charcoal line, please visit www.nitramcharcoal.com.
