[Dubai, 8 May, 2013] Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) has announced that it has facilitated a meeting for its members with US-based Skyline Equities to discuss potential investment tie-ups on prime real estate in Miami, Florida and in the UAE, on May 8, 2013, at the Dubai Chamber head office.
Evangeline Gouletas, the Chairman and CEO of Skyline Equities, who is also the first international member of DBWC, had first visited Dubai earlier this year and had productive talks with DBWC President Raja Al Gurg, DBWC Vice President Faiza Al Sayed, and Dubai Chamber Director General Hamad Buamim. The follow-up meeting held at the request of Gouletas, turned out to be even more fruitful as it also involve representatives from Dubai-based real estate companies and developers as well as members and board members of the Dubai Business Women Council.
Gouletas and her team provided attendees invited by DBWC and the Dubai Chamber with a background of Skyline Equities and its accomplishments and outlined the growth and development of Miami's real estate market, which is currently experiencing an upswing. After the formal discussions the floor was open to an interactive Q&A session, followed by networking opportunities for all participants.
Raja Al Gurg, said: “During our last meeting with Ms. Gouletas we were highly impressed by the strong investment potential of Miami, Florida and wanted to spread the good news to prospective women property investors in Dubai right away. Ms. Gouletas also recognised the buoyancy of the UAE's real estate sector and pointed out that several prospective investors in Florida were looking to tap into opportunities in the Emirates. This latest meeting was an excellent opportunity to facilitate real estate business between Miami and our members and other interested investors with the invaluable assistance of a distinguished figure in property development in the US.”
Evangeline Gouletas, said: “Dubai has a strong business acumen when it comes to real estate. I was pleased to meet women entrepreneurs from the emirate who share my passion for real estate and who are willing to capitalize on Miami's resurgent real estate dynamics. Through the help of the Dubai Business Women Council this was an ideal opportunity to match the right developments with the right investors and further expand the presence of Dubai's investors in key US property markets and vice versa.”
