Dubai, UAE; May 8, 2013: The Dubai Mall, the world's largest shopping and entertainment destination is hosting live presentations by celebrity chefs, as part of ‘The Dubai Mall, Culinary Promotion,' every weekend during May 2013.
At the kick off session, visitors had the opportunity to watch live cooking action by Marta Yanci and Tomas Reger from BBC Good Food Middle East as well as culinary performances by Russell Impiazzi from Lafayette Gourmet.
The master chefs shared their secrets on making delectable salmon and avocado tartar, burrata and tomato salad, grilled salmon, carrot and coriander salad, among other delicious courses. Chef Impiazzi is scheduled to reappear this weekend along with a chef from Wafi Gourmet, from 6pm and 8pm, at The Souk Dome.
In partnership with VISA, ‘The Dubai Mall, Culinary Promotion,' will also offer visitors who spend AED 300 on shopping or dining with their VISA card, the chance to win one of the four Culinary trip packages to Paris including flight, hotel, and cooking classes at one of France's renowned culinary schools. Participants who spend with their Visa Cards at any of The Dubai Mall's F&B outlets can double their chances to win.
Located in the heart of the prestigious Downtown Dubai mixed-use development, The Dubai Mall has over 1,200 retail outlets and two anchor department stores. The 440,000 sq ft Fashion Avenue, dedicated to high fashion, positions The Dubai Mall as the fashion capital for the region, while The Souk, featuring 99 stores offering gold & jewellery, traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, abayas, perfumes and carpets, among others, in a dedicated precinct designed to reflect traditional Arabic heritage and culture. The mall is also linked directly to the Dubai Metro station through a travellator.
