TASWEEK discusses UAE's ‘investment power' at 3rd Gulf-Moroccan Investment Forum

May 07, 2013:- TASWEEK Real Estate Development and Marketing, an advisor and solutions provider serving the real estate markets, is highlighting the UAE's strong investment capacity and potentials at the 3rd Gulf-Moroccan Investment Forum that began yesterday (Monday, May 6, 2013) and runs until tomorrow at the Movenpick Hotel - Tangier in Tangier, Morocco.

Held under the theme ‘Strategic Partnership for Building the Future Economy,' this year's exclusive ‘invitation-only' Forum once again gathers leaders and economic decision-makers, senior political & diplomatic VIPs, experts and academics to discuss and promote stronger business and investment ties between Morocco and the Gulf region. TASWEEK is a silver sponsor of this year's edition.

At yesterday's third workshop on ‘Investment Opportunities in the Tourism Sector,' Masood Al Awar, the CEO of TASWEEK, noted the exceptional spending power of UAE investors and the availability of prime investment opportunities in the Emirates that form part of national economic diversification efforts, particularly within the tourism sector. He encouraged renewed vigor in pursuing real estate development ventures between Morocco and the UAE.

Al Awar also received an ‘excellent investment award' for TASWEEK's handling of the Marrakech Healthcare City project, alongside other top industry performers who were handed out various trophies during last night's Gala Dinner.

“The Gulf recognizes Morocco's important role in serving as a business gateway to key North African and global markets. Our region would highly benefit from building strategic partnerships that harness our shared strengths and visions particularly in growth areas such as real estate and tourism. For its part, TASWEEK intends to become an active facilitator for potential Moroccan-Gulf property tieups,” said Al Awar.

The 2013 Gulf-Moroccan Investment Forum is being held under the patronage of H.M. King Mohammed VI, the King of Morocco. More than 400 VIPs from the Arab Gulf, Europe, the US, Brazil, Russia, India, China and Africa are attending. Complete event information is available at

TASWEEK Real Estate Development and Marketing offers a comprehensive portfolio of services that includes Purchase and Sale of Strategic Assets; Asset Management; Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliances; and Marketing Consultancy.  Its two core competencies are networking and extensive market knowledge.
