Reached out to more than 600 plus people from 25 nationalities
Dubai, April 29, 2013: Wall Street Exchange (a member of Emirates Post Group Holding)successfullyorganised the “Learn Arabic” initiative in Dubai. The initiative was organized over 3 days in two different locations and was attended by more than 600 people from 25 nationalities.
Learn Arabic initiative comes after the Launch of The Arabic Language Charter an initiative by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Wall Street Exchange is the first organization to launch such a distinctive CSR initiative.
Wall Street Exchange wanted to help the expats and Non-Arabic speakers in Dubai to learn Arabic for free and to introduce the Arabic language in a friendly and simplified manner. These classes have also introduced the public to Arabic culture and the Arab World and made them familiar with Arabic values.
Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Sultan Al Mahmoud, Group Marketing Director, Wall Street Exchange added, “We are delighted that Learn Arabic initiative was successfully launched and gained attention with common public. At the launch of the initiative we intended to reach out to three hundred people but the result has been outstanding. This was the pilot initiative and looking at the success of the same, we would like to take other similar initiatives and help the public at large.
Mr. Sultan added, “We would like to take an opportunity to thank the Prime Minister Office (PMO), the Arabic Learning Centre, The Dubai Mall, Kinokuniya Book Store and The Dubai Municipality for helping us launch this initiative and making it a huge success.”
