The software has been a huge hit across India last year and students have been writing about it extensively on their blogs and social media forums. The Finals comprised 5 rounds.
Angry Nerds: An interesting round where the teams would choose a 'nerd' of their choice, which in turn would trigger a question for the teams to crack.
GTA: A round called Grand Theft Answers, it gives teams a chance to take a swipe at a question meant for another team, in a sense effective a grand theft. If they falter they run the risk of getting negatives.
@TCS: These are questions from the world of TCS based on what has appeared in public domain.
Max Pain: Max is shooter who aims at different clues and the objective is for teams to find a link between what Max shoots for them. Played on the buzzer the round demands lateral thinking and can be a game changer.
Total Kombat: The final battle ground of the quiz would be a common for all series of rapid fires from the quizmaster, effectively a Total Komat.
The Quiz during the Finals also ran a Twitter contest in real time. In keeping with the times, the TCS IT Wiz has also gone social with an active presence on Twitter and Facebook. The TCS IT Wiz Twitter communication included quiz-related announcements, queries and response to registrations.
