April 24, 2013:-Dubai Quality Group (DQG), a non-profit organization that advances learning, promotes quality improvement and business excellence practices, has announced the winners of the “Idea of the Year” competition, which served as one of the highlights of the 8th Ideas.Arabia International Conference 2013 that was recently held in Dubai. H.H. Sheikh Suhail bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum and Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, Chairman of Dubai Quality Group handed out the awards to the winners of the competition on behalf of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
Falaj Al Mualla School for Girls led the list of winners after it was presented the “Idea of the Year” award. Other winners were Dubai Municipality, DUBAL and DEWA in the Productivity category; Emirates Airlines and DEWA in the Financial category; DUBAL, which won two awards in the Health and Safety category; Emirates Transport and Moza Obaid in the Environment category; Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MRHE) in the Technology category; and Dubai Duty Free and Dubai Municipality in the Customer Services category.
Badriya Al Tamimi, Managing Director of DQG, said: “The entries for this year's edition of the Idea of the Year competition manifest a very high level of innovation and creativity.
