Company provided walk-around mascots to London 2012 Olympics
Dubai, UAE, April 17th, 2013: Mascot costumes manufacturer and costume character events company Rainbow Productions returns to the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure (DEAL) exhibition, which takes place from 23rd to 25th April 2013 at the Dubai WTC. The 2013 edition of DEAL represents the seventh consecutive year that the company has invested in a presence at the exhibition. As a member of the Association of Leisure Equipment Suppliers (ALES-UK) Rainbow Productions will at Stand I7 at the Arena Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre.
DEAL will have over 250 exhibitors from across 33 countries and the 2013 edition of the show also expects to attract over 7000 trade visitors. Exhibitors last year have signed contracts worth over US$220 million. These contracts were for all the equipments, rides and other innovative products and projects that were being rolled out during the course of the year.

The year 2012 was a landmark year for the mascots company, having secured the contract to manufacture the costumes and manage over 1000 personal appearances of Wenlock and Mandeville, the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic mascots. On 27th February 2013 Rainbow Productions also received a licence from the British Olympic Association (BOA) under its Supplier Recognition Scheme, awarding the company the right to use the following designation until 31st December 2015: Supplier of walk around mascots to London 2012.

As part of the entertainment programme at Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi the visitor attraction commissioned Rainbow Productions to bring to life as costume characters a number of characters from The Legend of the Lost Pearl story described on Yas Waterworld's website. Another project in the region, as a direct result of Rainbow Productions exhibiting at past DEAL exhibitions, involved creating walk-about milk cartons on behalf of brand activation company Lenzo Arabia for use in promotional activities within shopping malls in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam on behalf of their client, Saudia long-life milk.
