Abu Dhabi – March 23 2013: The Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO) was donated 200 high-spec laptop computers by the Abu Dhabi General Services (Musanada), who is commitment to support the Abu Dhabi Government and its initiatives.
The delegation from Musanada, led by their CEO H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al-Fahed Al-Mehairi, met with H.E. Mohamed Mohamed Fadel Al-Hameli, the Deputy-Chairman and Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, along with other officials from both delegations, to personally present these laptops to ZHO.
ZHO will distribute these laptop-computers to a number of its care centres and affiliates across Abu Dhabi, and have arranged to give 30 laptops to each of the following centres; Abu Dhabi Centre for Care and Rehabilitation, Abu Dhabi Centre for Autism, Zayed Foundation for Care, and Al Ain Centre for Care and Rehabilitation, as well as 20 laptops to Al Ain Centre for Primary Services.
In addition to this, ZHO has organised to distribute 10 laptops to each of Al Qooa' Centre for Care and Rehabilitation, Madinat Zayed Centre for Care and Rehabilitation, Ghayathi Centre for Care and Rehabilitation, Al Sela' Centre for Care and Rehabilitation, and Delma Centre for Care and Rehabilitation, as well as 5 laptops each to Abu Dhabi Sports Club for Special Needs, Al Ain Club for Disabled, Blind Printing Press, and Zayed Agricultural Centre for Development and Rehabilitation.
In appreciation of Musanada's donation to the special needs community, H.E. Mohamed Mohamed Fadel Al-Hameli said, “We thank Musanada for their contribution and support towards the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, and thanks to the company officials for this initiative that will pledge closer cooperation with our organisation. We warmly welcome the cooperation with all organisations and bodies.'
His Excellency Al-Hameli stressed the importance of strengthening and activating partnership and coordination between government departments, organisations, bodies and companies, and achieving harmony and teamwork among them, in order to implement the directives of our wise leaders and rulers.
He said, 'We at ZHO, welcome the collaboration with Musanada in line with the focussed and meaningful community partnership that we aim to build with various government and private sectors. This also includes the government companies and associations that seek to achieve the goals and hopes of the groups they sponsor, including the disabled people and orphans, and aim to empower them to be active individuals in society.'
The Deputy-Chairman and Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs further added that the organisation seeks to achieve its objective to fully integrate all the groups covered by its sponsorship. 'Our strategy for achieving this objective is based on the adoption of best strategic and modern practices in order to reach the leadership's vision with this. Theses computers are a valuable gift that will be used by students with disabilities at ZHO to be trained on new technologies,' he concluded.
