The Dubai Mall rolls out array of prizes including ‘Aston Martin Rapide' for lucky shoppers this DSF

Dubai, UAE; January 10, 2013: The Dubai Mall, the world's largest shopping and entertainment destination, is celebrating Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2013, the region's largest shopping and entertainment extravaganza, by offering shoppers the chance to win an array of prizes including an elegant ‘Aston Martin Rapide' through a spectrum of special entertainment activities, until February 3, 2013.

For every AED 300 or more spent on shopping, dining or entertainment at The Dubai Mall, visitors will get the chance to enter a raffle draw to win the ultra-luxurious and stylish ‘Aston Martin Rapide'. In addition, visitors of the mall's Star Atrium can enjoy the first ‘Visa Big Box' promotion featuring a giant box containing a mysterious prize to be unveiled and won at the end of DSF.

Nasser Rafi, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Malls Group, said: “DSF is the region's most anticipated retail and entertainment extravaganza welcoming tourists from around the globe and as the world's most visited shopping destination, we have further energised the retail and leisure experience that awaits visitors. The attractive array of prizes and activities at the mall will definitely be an added incentive for visitors.”

Selected retailers in The Dubai Mall are offering a range of discounts during DSF 2013. Furthermore, upon using their Visa card at participating retailers, visitors will get a chance to win daily instant prizes.

The entertainment events include the spectacular and captivating ‘Water, Fire & Light' lake shows at 8pm and 10pm daily, a fashion performance presenting the biggest makeover, a midnight show, roaming parades and lots of activities especially tailored for the little ones.

Located in the heart of the prestigious Downtown Dubai mixed-use development, The Dubai Mall features over 1,200 retail outlets, two anchor department stores and over 160 food and beverage outlets.

The 440,000 sq ft Fashion Avenue, dedicated to high fashion, positions The Dubai Mall as the fashion capital for the region, while The Souk, featuring 99 stores offering gold & jewellery, traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, abayas, perfumes and carpets, among others, in a dedicated precinct designed to reflect traditional Arabic heritage and culture. The Village is the region's first indoor-outdoor streetscape with a fully retractable roof, with tree-lined walkways, cafes and restaurants. The mall is also linked directly to the Dubai Metro station through a travellator that opened recently.
