Dubai based Al Maya Group announced on Monday that it has been awarded the Superbrand status for 2013 by the Superbrands Council - the world's largest independent brand arbiter.
The Superbrand status is assigned to a company or a brand based on market dominance, quality, trust, longevity, accounting practices, goodwill, customer loyalty and market acceptance.
The Superbrands organisation, which began in 1994, analyses the history and strength of different brands in over 40 countries and is universally commended for being an arbiter of branding excellence.
The Superbrand citation acknowledges Al Maya Group as a household name in the UAE for offering a strong product portfolio, demonstrating high brand awareness and a credible reputation while engaging in meaningful corporate social responsibility programmes.
“We are honoured to get the Superbrands status and it will encourage us to further enhance our service and expand reach,” said Kamal Vachani, Group Operations Director of Al Maya Group.
The Group has completed 30 years of operations in the region. “Over the past three decades Al Maya Group become household name and has developed close relationships with trading partners to bring a complete experience of quality and service to our customers,” Vachani said.
