• Dubai Sports Council reveals the details of the tournament in the presence of Bollywood star Kabir Singh

The Dubai Sports Council announced that it will host Dubai (Ultra Kabaddi League), which will be held for the first time in the country and is organized by Sporteify in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council. Its competitions will be held in the sports hall of Al-Ahly Youth Club in Al-Mamzar from June 4th  to 24th, with the participation of 112 players from 10 different countries make up 8 branded teams, competing in 32 matches.

The announcement came during a press conference held at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council, during which Ali Omar, Director of the Sports Events Department in the Council, the famous Indian actor Kabir Duhan Singh, Bollywood star of Indian cinema, and Sumit Singh, the director of the organizing company, spoke.

Ali Omar said: We are happy to host this tournament, which is being held for the first time, and which represents a new and distinctive addition to the diversity that Dubai is keen to present to all segments of society. For sports enthusiasts and the public of different nationalities to follow different sports tournaments, and to achieve the happiness of community members, as our annual agenda includes organizing and sponsoring many international and community sporting events and events, which enjoy a large public following.

Ali Omar added: 'The sport of kabaddi is not strange to Emirati society. Previous generations knew this sport and young people used to practice it. Now the sport has developed greatly until it has a federation and countries compete in it. The Dubai Sports Council is keen on the success of this tournament, which contributes to strengthening cooperation with The private sector to develop this sport and any other sport.

For his part, the famous actor Kabir Duhan Singh said: “I love this sport and I used to practice it when I was young during my school days, then  I stopped it after I become so busy in acting, and I am happy to be part of this tournament that combines focus and physical strength, so that who want to win in this game It requires intense focus and great energy, and I hope that the fans will enjoy watching the competitions of this exciting tournament. I am also more pleased that this sport, which is very popular in India, will be held here in Dubai, and I thank the Dubai Sports Council for supporting this event.”
