Sharjah, November 11, 2022: An innovative resin art workshop is keeping children of all ages entertained at the ongoing 41st Sharjah International Book Fair that continues its run at Expo Centre Sharjah until November 13, 2022.
At the interactive workshop, young participants are taught the technique and tricks of working with clear epoxy to create art and transform daily-use objects such as coasters, trays, bowls, into decorative pieces.
The workshop, organised and conducted by Assaad Damen, saw participants mix and harden the epoxy, adding elements such as glitter, beads, sequins and stones in different patterns to create decorative objects.
'There's no limit to creativity with resin art,' said Damen. 'You can add any element of your choice, such as pressed flowers, shells and gold flecks and even add colour for a dramatic effect to make it resemble the sea, fog, clouds, etc.'
