January 26, 2022:  The local launch of Samsung Electronics’ Bespoke refrigerator ushered in a whole new era of customizable home appliances. Allowing you to personalize your fridge’s color, material and modules to suit your needs, Bespoke epitomizes Samsung’s commitment to offering products that cater to consumers’ evolving lifestyles.
Markets’ response to the fridge has been extraordinary. Not only has the Bespoke refrigerator’s lifestyle-centric philosophy resonated with consumers, but Samsung’s innovation has enabled the company to increase engagement with the devices while also driving online sales. Award-winning innovation
When Bespoke launched in 2019, it presented a fresh take on the built-in fridge look. It combined Samsung’s minimalist design philosophy, known as Flat Style, with the ability to customize your fridge’s interior and exterior. These qualities made it easy to blend the Bespoke fridge into any space and earned the appliance a variety of coveted design awards. These include a gold International Forum (iF) Design Award 2020, as well as a silver award and Best-in-Show honors at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2020. More specifically, Samsung’s Bespoke line-up offers the following: 
• Three different yet equally attractive bespoke refrigerator propositions, the new line-up includes the French Door refrigerator, 1-Door Fridge 1-Door Freezer, and 2-Door Bottom-Mount Freezer (BMF) models.
• Consumers can select a multitude of attractive color options that complement lifestyles, uplift household appearance, and effortlessly integrate with their new surroundings. 
• Consumers can also adjust between ‘Flex’ and ‘Fridge’ depending on their needs and benefit from the combination modular system that best suits individual lifestyles. This module can be combined with other Column/BMF Bespoke modules to add more required storage space.
• Even when the refrigerator doors are left open frequently, metal cooling ensures temperatures remain stable for even more convenience. 
A trendsetter
Bespoke’s popularity also reflects changing refrigerator trends driven by an expanding home appliances market.  In the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the home appliances market is projected to reach USD 8.4 billion in 2023 – USD 1.2 billion higher than in 2020 . This year alone, this segment in the UAE is also expected to reach USD 349 million, with an annual compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 14.84% amounting to USD 607 million by 2025 . 
Customizable appliances are a key factor behind these projections, which has, in turn, led to increased interest in a wider variety of colors in appliances. Prior to the launch of Bespoke, the vast majority of refrigerators sold worldwide were black or silver. Bespoke has changed this trend. The French Door and 2-Door BMF are available in Glam Peach, Glam navy, or Glam white. Alternatively, the 1-Door Fridge 1-Door Freezer can be selected in Satin sky blue or Satin grey. 
Single customers with a passion for arts and color experimentation can built their very own refrigerator the way the envisage to enhance their home décor and complement their own dynamic lifestyles. Meanwhile, couples that cook together regularly can make the most of their kitchen’s capabilities by adding more or less refrigerator space according to their needs, while families never need to worry about running out of space either thanks to the modularity provided through these innovations.
