Dubai-Government Workshop to showcase latest services at GITEX Technology Week 2021

Dubai, 16 October 2021 – The Dubai-Government Workshop (DGW), is set to join the GITEX Technology Week on October 17 to 21 at the Dubai World Trade Center as part of the Digital Dubai Pavilion. During this event, DGW will showcase its latest services, updates on new initiatives and innovations, as well as introduce its advanced solutions aimed at enhancing customer experience and improving the government service sector in the Emirate of Dubai and in the UAE.

Through its participation in this major event, DGW seeks to inform the public about the progress made in providing an easy and smooth experience for all customers through integrating technological innovations that ensure safety procedures in preparation for the post-pandemic phase.

DGW will showcase its portfolio of innovative solutions and systems which include smart applications, corporate intelligence system, vehicle fleet management system, and the employee happiness index system. This set of solutions support the Dubai Paperless Strategy and paves the way for the adoption of more sustainable practices, thereby helping protect the environment and shaping a better future for all.

The DGW’s Vehicle Fleet Management System enhances the performance and efficiency of fleets by anticipating work trends and ensuring the safety of drivers. Meanwhile, the Employee Happiness Index System boosts the wellbeing of employees and ensures their happiness for a positive service delivery.

H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al-Raeesi CEO of DGW said: “Our participation in GITEX is part of our role as a leading government entity that provides the finest vehicle maintenance services, insurance and licensing for the vehicle fleets. It is in line with our commitment to support Dubai in leading the digital transformation in the government service sector to further meet the needs and expectations of the public.’

Al-Raeesi emphasized DGW’s outstanding achievements which are in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to improve the quality and efficiency of government services through the integration of technology which enhances people's happiness and the general welfare of society.

DGW is participating for the 6th year in line with its commitment to highlight and continue its achievements in the field of digital transformation which include initiatives driven by comprehensive strategies and plans that support the transformation of Dubai into a smart city.
