Dubai, UAE, 6th July 2021: du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), welcomed senior personnel from the Al Jalila Foundation, a member of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, to its Head Office to discuss the recent long-term partnership announcement between the two parties. As part of its annual commitment to giving back to the local community , du will donate AED 1 million to the Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through medical research, education, and treatment in the UAE. du CEO Fahad Al Hassawi personally met with his counterpart Dr. Abdulkareem Sultan Al Olama, CEO of Al Jalila where the two discussed the foundation’s latest projects, including the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Charity Hospital, which is currently under development.

Dr Abdulkareem thanked du for their generosity and long-term support to Al Jalila Foundation research programs to advance medical breakthroughs to support national prosperity. He had the opportunity to update Fahad Al Hassawi and the du leadership team on the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Charity Hospital: “In our mission to transform lives, Al Jalila Foundation works with its partners and donors to deliver innovative treatment, education and research programs.
